No roof required
Solar carports generate power from your car park, ideal when your roof is unsuitable, tenanted or already at capacity.
Turn your car park into a power-generating asset. Solar carport structures generate clean electricity while providing covered parking, and can be integrated with EV chargers and battery storage.
A solar carport turns existing parking space into a visible clean-energy asset, combining electricity generation, covered parking and EV charging in one structure.

Solar carport structures are not attached to a building and in most cases require planning permission. We manage the full planning process including structural and design drawings required for the application.
Solar carports cost more per kWp than rooftop systems due to the structural steel framework required. A 20-space carport (approximately 25kWp) typically costs £40,000–£65,000 installed. The combined benefit of power generation, EV charging and covered parking typically justifies the premium. Contact us for a site-specific quote.
Yes. We can install commercial EV charging without solar panels. However, integrating EV chargers with a solar carport produces the strongest financial returns by reducing the cost of charging to near zero during daylight hours.
